“13th of April will coincide with the New Year of many calendars in South and Southeast Asia such as in Thailand (Songkran); Laos; India; Cambodia and more. It is a good moment for a visit of the Vietnamese surrounding countries, for the discovery of their respective customs and the weather is just wonderful at this time of the year.

This month will also celebrate the Birthday of Buddha, who was also called Prince Siddhartha Gautama, an important event of the Buddhist tradition.

The birthstone of April is the diamond which symbolizes innocence, and the birth flower is typically listed as either the Daisy or the Sweet Pea.
