Even Vietnamese people have their own traditions, they are enjoying the Western Year End festivity with almost as much zeal as Westerners. Although most of the Vietnamese are not Christian, the tradition is happily celebrated, and Christmas is one of the most popular event throughout Vietnam. Same as Western countries, all streets and monuments are highlighted and decorated in a mixed Western and Asian styles with Jesus crib, Santa Claus, snowman and Christmas balls. On the Eve the city center gets animated and crowed quickly with thousands of motorbikes driven by thousands of Santa Clauses. Then many end up at the church for the traditional midnight mass. An exciting experience that is followed a week later with a great enthusiasm by New Year’s Eve Celebration.
